Job summary

The Wisconsin Union, Dining & Hospitality, Catering is seeking a Catering Supervisor to lead a student crew in setting up and serving catered events across campus and beyond. You will guide teams, ensure standout customer service, and drive event success from morning breaks to weddings and VIP events.

Qualifications

• Food service, restaurant, hotel experience in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Experience coordinating catering events and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
• Leads and provides exceptional customer service, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation, catering, and related activities
• Prepares, presents, and executes catered events
• Assigns and coordinates the day-to-day activities of food service staff
• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations and procedures
