Job summary

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater seeks a customer-focused events coordinator to serve as the primary contact for inbound inquiries, selling and coordinating catering and event services for on-campus and off-campus locations.

You will support conferences, banquets, receptions and other functions, partner with Dining Services and Meeting & Conference Services to ensure high-quality service, client satisfaction, and accurate event records.

Qualifications

• Two years of related work experience.
• Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary source of information for event planning and client inquiries.
• Respond to catering inquiries, meet clients, estimate costs, and prepare proposals and contracts.
• Provide menu guidance, pricing, and presentation options.
• Monitor events to confirm order accuracy and uphold standards.
• Coordinate weekly banquet meetings with catering staff and supervise invoices.
• Maintain accurate event records and support business development.
