Job summary

South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Campus Support Coordinator for Midlands Regional Center in Columbia. The role focuses on protecting residents, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with ICF-IID standards.

You will manage shift staffing, oversee campus safety drills, and document issues for management follow-up. You will provide hands-on care as needed, support staff with behavioral plans, and coordinate with administrators to maintain

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and management experience in federal, state, or private organizations.
• Knowledge of ICF-IID regulations and agency directives is essential.
• Ability to secure buildings/grounds and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and rights of individuals from loss or injury.
• Ensure health, safety, accountability, and developmental needs of consumers.
• Oversee staffing coverage and monitor campus-wide operations.
• Perform routine fire drills and safety inspections.
• Document daily issues and communicate with management for follow-up.
• Provide on-the-spot corrections and support for BSP-related issues.
