Job summary

Midlands Regional Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a senior leader to manage program and fiscal operations and supervise facility administrative personnel at a state-operated ICF-IID. The role ensures continuous active treatment, promotes positive health outcomes, and supports community integration for residents and families.

You will establish KPI benchmarks, ensure CMS and DOL compliance, and lead staff development while coordinating with directors across centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field of study.
• At least three (3) years of experience working with people who have disabilities with at least one (1) year of experience in supervision/administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and supervision to key regional center directors and personnel with responsibilities impacting facility operations.
• Ensures acumen of CMS State Operations Manual provisions, federal and state rules and regulations pertaining to ICFs-IID, and knowledge of community-based service options to promote community integration, inclusion, and successful transition.
• Develops key performance indicators (KPI) to establish quality and risk management benchmarks. KPI should incorporate human resources, survey data and trends, critical and Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (ANE) incidents, CPIP, small projects, and analyses of fiscal reports.
• Facilitates organizational and operational uniformity among all Regional Centers as required/needed.
• Proactively identifies specific improvement projects, develop specific guidance/parameters, specific milestones, final completion time, fix accountability for results, and effectively brief higher-level managers periodically on status.
• Ensures state operated ICFs-IID comply with federal and state labor laws and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations to include but not limited to the Workforce Innovations and Opportunities Act (WIOA).
• Conducts frequent walking visits of resident living areas, workshops, and day service areas to identify needs and ensure delivery of appropriate support and services.

Education
