BARNES & NOBLE COLLEGE at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead the campus bookstore. You will partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional service, manage staff, and drive business results across Course Materials and General Merchandise.

You will recruit, train, coach, and schedule team members, analyze sales trends, control costs, and ensure a safe, organized, and inviting store environment that supports students

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of retail experience, including leadership or Aspiring Leader Program.
• Experience with merchandising, inventory, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily store operations, delivering excellent customer service and coaching the team.
• Partner with Store Manager to oversee operations, scheduling, and initiatives while maintaining standards.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store staff, provide feedback and build a high-performing team.
• Drive sales and operational performance by analyzing trends and managing expenses.
