Job summary

Communities In Schools of South Central Texas, Inc. is seeking a Site Coordinator to help students overcome challenges on a school campus.

You will lead needs assessments, campus planning, and day-to-day CIS model implementation while coordinating services between students, families, staff, and community partners. This role trains mentors, maintains confidential records, and works to improve attendance, behavior, and academic performance, with travel to campuses as needed and a focus on

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, sociology, or related field required for elementary campuses.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, sociology, or related field required for secondary campuses.
• Pass a background/fingerprinting check with no criminal or child abuse history.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with school staff, families, and community partners to deliver wraparound services.
• Complete campus needs assessments and develop individualized service plans.
• Train and supervise mentors and volunteers providing one-on-one support to students.
• Document progress and maintain confidential student records on CIS activities.
• Coordinate referrals to services and assist with crisis interventions on campus.
