Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a full-time Program Manager to lead CIS services at Dobie Middle School in Austin, TX. The site-based leader works with administrators to integrate CIS programming with school activities to empower students to set and achieve goals and engage parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field; MSW preferred.
• Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills, highly preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals.
• Group counseling and supportive guidance.
• Case Management experience.
• Experience working with school-age youth and vulnerable populations.
• Experience working with parents/guardians and families.
• Ability to build positive relationships with CIS staff, school personnel, community partners, students, families, and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Program Design and Support: conduct needs assessments to inform program design and resource identification.
• Campus Management: maintain relationships with campus personnel and establish student referral processes.
• Data Management and Program Evaluation: implement data systems for evaluating program effectiveness.
• Hiring, Onboarding & Training: coordinate hiring, orientation, and training; set team goals.
• Professional Development: develop and implement staff development plans.
• Team Supervision & Evaluation: provide supervision and conduct reviews and evaluations.
• Represent CIS: engage with school/community meetings and events; communicate policies.
• Event Management: organize school and community events and open houses.
