Job summary

Communities In Schools – Texas Joint Venture is seeking a CIS Site Coordinator to manage day-to-day program operations at the school site. You will collaborate with principals, teachers, students, and families to ensure CIS services reach identified students.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in education or social work, with strong counseling and bilingual (Spanish) communication skills. Travel to campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in education, social work, or working with at‑risk youth.
• Ability to interact with students, families, school staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for identified students during the school day and possibly before/after school.
• Interview students/parents/guardians to assess problems (personal, finances, housing, etc.).
• Maintain student records and prepare reports ensuring deadlines are met.
• Counsel students individually or in small groups to plan needs and utilize resources.
