Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in student services programs and a bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years experience in student services programs/academic advising or an achieved master's degree.
• Direct academic advising experience in a community/technical college setting with caseload management and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support an assigned caseload of newly admitted students, students in their first semester of enrollment, and continuing students with career advising, academic plan development, registration assistance, and academic strategy development.
• Maintain 30 hours of advising availability per week, participate in on-going training, and travel between MTC campuses as needed.
