Job summary

University of North Texas System is seeking a Systems Integration Architect to lead design, procurement, installation and maintenance of AV/IT components for large-scale classrooms and spaces on the Denton campus.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field with several years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of computing networks, hardware, and project management. This position supports UNT's classroom technologies and IT standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and four years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of computing and/or communications networks and distributed environments.
• Experience with AV/IT standards and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV system designer services based on industry standards and procure technology.
• Define project scope with clients and translate requests into estimates and quotes.
• Ensure compliance with TAC 216, IT governance, and UNT standards.
• Own the DSI Tech project management process from inception to completion.
• Maintain awareness of UNT AV and IT standards for system maintenance and integration.
