Job summary

The University of North Texas System in Denton is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Architect to lead development and operations initiatives for UNT Classroom Technologies. You will drive integration architecture across multi-platform applications, AV/IT systems, and cloud services while mentoring engineering staff.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in DevOps, systems integration, and project leadership, with broad knowledge of networking, software development, and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; six years related experience or combination of education/experience.
• Considerable knowledge of computing/communications networks and hardware/software in distributed environments.
• Ability to operate keyboards and install computer hardware.
• Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical information and applications.

Responsibilities

• Awareness of service scope and escalation procedures for campus AV/IT services.
• Familiarity with UNT procedures and cross-department coordination.
• Proficiency with digital tools: CSS Work Order, CSS Room Monitor, Office solutions, incident tools, PM tools.
• Knowledge of current AV/IT standards and department system standards.
• Lead development and operations efforts for DSI Tech software solutions.
• Architect cloud services and web conferencing solutions for UNT World.
• Manage projects and coordinate with facilities in construction meetings.
• Troubleshoot severe service outages affecting conferencing or network services.
