Job summary

University of North Texas in Denton is seeking a Systems Integration Architect to own day-to-day technical management for large building and room deployments. You will design, procure, install, and maintain components ensuring scalability and operational effectiveness across UNT facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline with four years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of computing and communications networks; experience with distributed computing environments.
• Ability to install computer hardware and operate computer keyboards.
• Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical and applications-oriented information.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV system designer services based upon DSI Tech standards and AV industry practices.
• Prepare documents, procure technology, and provide resources for end-user training.
• Offer subject matter expertise across system environments to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with clients to define scope and objectives; translate requests into estimates and quotes.
• Navigate procurement processes using internal and external resources while following state and university standards.
• Suggest innovative solutions to improve daily operations and future system designs.
