Job summary

Broward College's Audiovisual Technology team designs, builds, maintains, and supports AV solutions across all college locations. This role provides high-level support for campus events and proactively maintains AV systems to ensure reliable operation.

The technician troubleshoots displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems, and supports Windows and macOS environments. AODA and campus event standards are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in business management or technology.
• Four years of relevant experience in maintaining and repairing computers and audio/visual equipment.
• Knowledge of installation, repair, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and support audiovisual solutions across all college locations.
• Provide technical support for high-profile college events (board meetings, town halls, foundation events).
• Troubleshoot and correct audiovisual issues for a specified department, division, or campus location.
