Job summary

Barnard College seeks a Senior Audiovisual Technology Services Technician to manage AV and instructional technology support for classes, meetings, and events. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment, record classes and events, train student workers, and advise faculty on optimal configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of audiovisual equipment and services.
• Strong computer skills including MacOS and Windows, MS Office, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Set up, deliver, and operate audiovisual and computer technology equipment for classes, meetings, events year-round.
• Set up and assist with audio/video recording, web, audio, and video conferencing, and simulcasts.
• Act as a preferred technician for VIP and sophisticated events.
• Represent the department in stakeholder meetings and update support requests.
• Advise faculty, students and administrators on optimal AV setups.
