Job summary

BranCore Technologies seeks an AV Instructional Technology Technician to provide operational and technical support for audiovisual systems across instructional classrooms, conference rooms, and university event venues. The role requires maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating AV equipment while delivering excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field.
At least two years of experience supporting professional or enterprise audiovisual systems.
Experience troubleshooting, installing, operating, and maintaining audiovisual equipment.
Experience supporting live events, meetings, classroom technology, or executive presentations.
Experience using a help desk or ticket management system.

Responsibilities

Provide daily operational support for AV in classrooms, conference rooms, and event venues.
Diagnose and resolve issues involving projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, control systems, and video conferencing.
Perform routine system testing, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
Complete minor installation and replacement work for audiovisual components.
Document service requests and equipment changes in ticketing/inventory systems.
Coordinate with event organizers to confirm technical requirements during events.
Work evenings, weekends, and non-standard hours to support events.
