Broward College seeks an Audiovisual Engineer to design, install, and maintain campus AV solutions. You will support high-profile events, assemble AV racks, and troubleshoot equipment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Academic requirement: Associate degree in business management or technology or equivalent.
Four years of relevant experience maintaining and repairing computers and audiovisual equipment.
Knowledge of AV hardware, video conferencing, and campus event support.
Familiarity with Crestron systems and AV signal flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assembles AV racks for in-house installations and tests components.
Performs on-site installation following detailed diagrams and signal flows.
Provides technical assistance to IT support technicians for AV hardware.
Trains college IT staff on AV capabilities and limitations.
Sets up and dismantles AV equipment for board meetings and events.
Performs tasks to ensure reliable operation of audiovisual systems college-wide.
