Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College seeks a Director of Auxiliary Services to lead bookstore operations, food service, mail, procurement, asset management, and related campus programs. The role focuses on operational excellence, strategic planning, financial sustainability, and customer service.

You will supervise about five direct reports and up to ~37 staff, manage budgets and capital planning, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with NSHE and TMCC policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field with professional experience in management.
• Five or more years of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of auxiliary services or multi-function operations; budget management and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day Auxiliary Services operations and set goals, service standards, and procedures.
• Hire, train, develop, supervise, evaluate staff; mentor managers; promote collaboration and service excellence.
• Lead budgeting, capital planning, and financial analyses; monitor budgets and internal controls.
• Oversee capital planning, asset management, procurement, and materials management.
• Manage vendor, contractor, and supplier relationships; monitor contracts and performance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls; oversee policy implementation.
