Job summary

Calhoun Community College is seeking a Director of Auxiliary Services to lead on-campus housing, bookstore, vending, concessions, special events, and campus food services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of management experience.
• Minimum three years coordinating or supervising a department.
• Experience in postsecondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage auxiliary services including on-campus housing operations, bookstore, events, vending, cafeterias and campus food services.
• Supervise housing staff and oversee dorm building maintenance.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, service evaluations and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor financial performance and develop long-range plans aligned with priorities.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Develop budgets, policies, procedures and departmental strategies.
• Submit purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Mentor personnel and maintain effective policy implementation.
• Coordinate work across the department and ensure communications.
• Be flexible and responsive to evolving needs and campus events.
