Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of effective customer service techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents.
• Strong ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team member.
• Knowledge of enrollment, records and grades processes.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other SIS systems.
• Experience in a college setting.
• Ability to interpret Virginia Community College (VCCS), FERPA, and college policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
• Ability to organize and maintain files and records.

Responsibilities

• Support Admissions and Enrollment on the Virginia Beach Campus.
• Assist students in person, by phone, and by email with admissions and enrollment, class scheduling and availability.
• Provide information about records, transcripts, verifications and domicile.
• Assist with recruitment events and campus tours.
• Maintain department workspace and update forms/publications.
• Process transcripts, verifications, enroll/drops, and data changes."
• Use ImageNow imaging system to scan and store documents.
• Handle enrollment inquiries through walkups, email and phone.
