Job summary

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• 2. Ability to successfully plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple activities.
• 3. Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
• 4. Set goals and objectives, organize, and schedule tasks to assigned staff.
• 5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 6. Ability to effectively deliver public presentations and trainings.
• 7. Good judgment skills sufficient to handle and resolve tasks with little supervision.
• 8. Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels to include students and visitors.
• 9. Ability to function as a neutral agent to facilitate issue resolution, demonstrate and maintain an extremely high regard for confidential and sensitive information.
• 10. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work under limited time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate CSD support services for assigned areas.
• Serve as liaison between staff, students, faculty, administration, and the community.
• Assist counselors and coordinate student conferences and assess needs.
• Administer ACCUPLACER tests and conduct CSD tours.
• Provide note-takers, scribes, or tutors as needed.
• Submit monthly reports of services and maintain time and effort reports.
