Shenandoah Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at Shenandoah National Park. The role emphasizes supervising staff, managing budgets, and performing hands-on repairs to uphold safety and quality.

You will ensure ISO-based policies are followed, maintain a preventative maintenance program, and coordinate with external providers while delivering dependable facilities services in a national park setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree or technical/trade school preferred.
• OSHA general industry or construction certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance staff are qualified and trained.
• Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform hands-on repairs across multiple maintenance disciplines.
• Carry out maintenance and mechanical duties for facilities and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
• Provide polite, knowledgeable visitor service and respond to inquiries.
• Operate and maintain a computer-based preventive maintenance program.
• Adhere to budgets and reporting processes.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing and training of Maintenance staff.
• Manage labor costs per GM guidance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and ISO management systems.
• Maintain professional image and upkeep of facilities.
• Coordinate with external maintenance providers as needed.
• Communicate project updates with GM and Director of Maintenance Operations.
