Job summary

Son's Island Getaways is seeking a Campground Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our properties and guest sites. This role reports to the Property Manager and is seasonal with full-time or part-time options.

The position offers pay of $12-$16 per hour and involves trash pickup, site prep, power-washing, cleaning, and supporting housekeeping and maintenance across San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Seguin area parks.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Seasonal, full-time or part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Park trash pickup and site prep for rentals.
• Power-wash pavilions, decks and guest areas.
• Clean pavilions, tables, chairs, and common areas.
• Assist waterpark upkeep and end-of-day cleanup.
• Deliver firewood to guests and assist housekeeping with cabin cleaning.

About the Role

The Campground Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property, grounds, and guest sites to ensure guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Property Manager and Property Assistant Manager/s. This is a seasonal, full-time or part-time position.

Facility Duties

• Responsible for park trash pick-up
• Prep sites and golf carts for rental
• Power-wash pavilions, decks, and guest areas
• Clean pavilions and party areas (sweeping, mopping, trash, tables/chairs)
• Assist with waterpark upkeep and end-of-day cleanup
• Deck and patio furniture cleaning including umbrellas
• Basic landscaping: pruning, weed eating, mowing, and blowing debris

Site Duties

• Clean picnic tables, fire rings, and grills
• Pick up trash around sites
• Deliver firewood to guests as needed
• Assist housekeeping team with cabin cleaning

Essential Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Regularly move throughout the park
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Work in a hot outdoor environment
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
