Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is seeking a Recreation Attendant to assist the Recreation Lead in planning, organizing, and leading campground activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports, and themed weekends.

You will engage guests, promote participation, and maintain safety and cleanliness across recreation spaces. Ideal candidates speak English, communicate well, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to hear and converse in English.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to manage conflict.
• Basic working knowledge of recreational activities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Motivated, goal-oriented and results driven.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate preparations for events from start to finish.
• Create an events calendar supporting the campground and guests of all ages.
• Prepare supply lists for Recreation Lead as needed.
• Greet new arrivals and explain activity rules to participants.
• In coordination with marketing, create engaging social media posts.
• Coordinate food/beverage items, equipment, awards, and entertainment for events.
• Maintain recreation equipment and facilities.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and assist as needed with first aid.
