Job summary

YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Camp Driver / Transportation Support Staff for North Woods Overnight Camp in the summer. You will safely drive vans and support check-ins, transporting campers, staff, and supplies to keep camp operations moving smoothly.

Following YMCA and ACA safety standards, you will maintain vehicles, coordinate with the Health Center for medications, and communicate clearly with leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to drive large passenger vans.
• Must meet YMCA and ACA safety standards and complete trainings.
• Excellent communication with campers, families and staff.
• Ability to lift luggage and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate camp vans and vehicles according to regulations.
• Transport nurses, staff, campers, and supplies.
• Assist with check-in/check-out logistics.
• Coordinate transportation to town runs and Wolfeboro.
• Maintain vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Help with food service and supply pickups.
• Prepare vans for camper arrivals and departures.
• Ensure safety and follow camp transportation policies.
