Job summary

ESS Support Services Worldwide – Gulf of Mexico is seeking a Camp Manager to oversee an on-site catering and hospitality operation in Alaska. The role focuses on maintaining the approved budget, fostering strong relations with staff, client and guests, and integrating dining with overall facility plans.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of upscale food service experience, with at least 6 years in management, and a track record in budgeting, purchasing, and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight to ten years upscale food service experience, including six years in a management role.
• Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning.
• Proven ability to achieve goals in compliance with client policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains budget and financial reporting including P&L and cash handling.
• Builds strong relationships with staff, client, and guests; coordinates with other departments.
• Plans menus in consultation with chefs and ensures HACCP controls and correct storage of food.
• Oversees purchasing and inventory controls; manages time and resources effectively.
• Monitors health and fire regulations; ensures compliance with regulations and company policies.
