Job summary

Denali Universal Services is seeking a Camp Manager to lead remote camp operations on the North Slope of Alaska. You will oversee food/environmental services, daily operations, and client relationships, ensuring contract compliance and high safety standards.

The role requires multi-site management experience, strong financial oversight, and excellent communication. Travel and relocation to remote sites may be required, with full-time hours and a focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational environment with multi-site management.
• Minimum 5 years in a remote site service environment.
• Understanding of Food Safety, OH&S, and related regulations.
• Knowledge of remote site markets and drivers.
• Strong people management and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in financial management within a P&L context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations.
• Proven client relationship management.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• ServSafe certification and English proficiency.
• Smartphone-based scheduling and timekeeping experience.
• Ability to complete background checks, drug screen, and post-offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Oversee camp operations and ensure contract delivery and quality.
• Manage food and environmental services across remote camps.
• Direct daily operations within budget and client expectations.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, policies and laws.
• Develop strong client relationships and internal teams.
• Lead safety, quality and environmental programs.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Supervise staff rostering, training and performance.
