Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a Rural Summer Camp. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

The role requires a 6-day/70-hour week, seasonal May through September, with competitive pay, bonus, and full room and board. You will collaborate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office to deliver scratch-cooked meals and

Qualifications

4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
ServSafe Manager Certification required; ServSafe Allergens required before start date.
Ability to manage allergens and safety compliance in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
