Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead a hands-on kitchen team at our rural summer camp facilities. This on-site, live-in role covers all prep and production for designated day parts, with a focus on allergen safety and high-volume service.

The role demands strong leadership, scratch baking skills, and comfort working with tablets and diverse ingredients. Seasonal contract with a competitive pay structure, room and board, and travel allowances are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Must live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
