Galileo Learning, LLC is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our K–8 summer camps, serving as site General Manager and the public face of the organization. You will operate a Camp Galileo location, manage a team of educators, ensure safety, and deliver outstanding camper and family experiences.

You will drive program quality, foster creativity, and partner with families and staff to uphold Galileo’s mission across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience with students in an education setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising adult staff.
• Proven ability to create safe, inclusive environments for children and build family trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families, partners, and supervisors.
• Experience with hands-on, project-based learning (STEAM, maker programs) is a plus.
• Availability for part-time remote work during prep and on-site work during camp.

Responsabilités

• Infuse camp with joy, tradition, and creativity.
• Own every aspect of camp launch, from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up.
• Oversee daily camp operations and parent communication while delivering an exceptional program.
• Train and mentor staff, including scheduling, payroll, and performance management.
• Build strong partnerships with families, facilities partners, and cross-functional teams.
