Galileo Learning is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our K–8th summer camps, serving as site General Manager and the public face of the organization. You will open and operate a Galileo location, guiding a dynamic team to deliver joyful, safe environments and exceptional camper and family experiences.

You will manage staffing, training, scheduling, payroll, and program quality, while upholding Galileo’s mission to foster curiosity, creativity, and growth mindset in every camper.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education/OCFT setting.
• Experience supervising or managing adult staff.
• Proven ability to create safe, inclusive environments for children and families.
• Strong organizational skills: scheduling, payroll, and operations.
• Calm, clear decision-making in fast-paced situations including safety issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families and partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead camp launches and oversee seasonal operations.
• Serve as site General Manager and primary public face of Galileo at your location.
• Ensure exceptional camper and family experiences, program quality, and staff leadership.
• Train and mentor staff, manage scheduling and payroll, provide performance feedback.
• Maintain safety, programming fidelity, and strong family communications.
• Collaborate with Field Program Manager and community partners.
