Camp Galileo is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our K–8th grade summer camps, serving as site General Manager and the public face of the organization. You will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, head a seasonal team of educators and entry-level staff, and ensure joyful, safe environments with exceptional camper experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven ability to create safe, inclusive environments for children and build trust with families.
• Experience scheduling, staffing, and payroll management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families, partners, and supervisors.
• Availability for part-time remote work starting Feb 2026 and full-time on-site starting June 2026 (dates vary by location).
• Ability to meet state requirements to work with children, including mandated screenings and CPR/First Aid certification.
