Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Camera Customer Relations Representative I to handle on-site repair estimates and customer communications. The role requires face-to-face estimate work, data entry, and some Excel reporting, plus processing and shipping repairs.

Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to lift 30–40 lbs, and comfort with photo gear are valued. Full-time, on-site role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Typically requires general education or vocational training plus min. 3 - 12 months of customer service and/or retail experience.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate experience with digital photographic equipment and associated processes desirable.
• Experience with camera, photography and/or cinematography is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create repair estimates and process shipments of completed repairs.
• Provide telephone and face-to-face assistance to customers regarding repairs and status inquiries.
• Input data into the database for repair issues and maintain records.
• Deliver completed repairs to customers at the walk-in service facility.
• Investigate escalations and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Provide shipping and receiving support in the warehouse.
• Assist with parts inventory and parts delivery to technicians.
• Transfer approved product to the repair area.
