Job summary

The role requires a calm, problem-solving leader who can de-escalate delays, manage inventory with WMS and ERP systems, and drive process improvements while adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading, motivating, and managing direct reports (3–5 people preferred).
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, train, and schedule a team of 4 inventory, shipping and receiving clerks.
• Oversee all daily inbound and outbound shipments with adherence to packaging, routing, and documentation standards.
• Verify accuracy of shipments against POs and packing slips; resolve discrepancies with vendors and carriers.
• Utilize WMS and ERP to process shipments, update inventory, and generate reports.
• Serve as primary contact for shipping emergencies, carrier disputes, or bottlenecks.
• Continuously evaluate procedures for cost reduction, faster turnaround, and improved accuracy.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA standards and safety protocols.
