Job summary

FOX Studio Lot is seeking a Telephone Operator in Los Angeles to join a fast-paced team. You will operate the switchboard, connect callers to the right person, and respond to requests via phone, e-mail, voicemail or in person.

You will provide updates, maintain professionalism, support other administrative functions and help sustain a safe, productive environment. Candidates should have Call Center/Help Desk experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a Call Center, Help Desk or similar with heavy incoming calls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, time management, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the switchboard and connect callers to the appropriate person or department.
• Respond to requests via e-mail, phone, voicemail or in person and dispatch the right team.
• Use the ticketing system to log, track, escalate and close requests.
• Provide status updates to staff and users via phone, e-mail or in person.
• Support other administrative functions and promote a positive work environment.
• Coordinate service requests using phone, e-mail and two-way radio.
• Perform general clerical duties and maintain records.
