Job summary

Premier Service Co in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Dispatch/Customer Service specialist to coordinate scheduling and dispatch of technicians, acting as the main liaison between customers and field teams. You will ensure accurate information relay, manage work orders, invoices, and customer accounts, and support training and professional development.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; HVAC knowledge

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Call Center experience preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Dispatching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate technicians' dispatch.
• Serve as primary contact between customers and technicians.
• Relay detailed and accurate information to field staff.
• Record and report service calls and work orders.
• Process technician work orders and invoices.
• Collect on customer accounts and update progress with customers.
• Provide customer service to customers and technicians.
• Be available for additional duties as assigned.

Summary of Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field.

• Record and reports service calls.

• Participates in training for professional development.

• Updates customers on technician progress.

• Submits work orders.

• Processes work order invoices.

• Collects on customer accounts.

• Process technician work orders.

• Handles dispatching for service departments.

• Provides customer service to customers and technicians.

• Be available for additional duties as assigned.
