Spire Orthopedic Partners in Stamford, CT, seeks a friendly medical receptionist to be the first contact for patients calling the office. You will register new patients, direct current patients to the appropriate care team, gather information, and manage electronic messages with professionalism and confidentiality.

You will document messages in the EMR, screen and transfer calls, and support physicians and staff with HIPAA-compliant processes.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of medical experience preferred.
• HIPAA and other insurance regulations, policies and procedures.
• Medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology.
• Electronic medical systems are a plus, including Athena/Centricity and Medi-Tech.
