Position Description :

Responsible for professionally and courteously serving customers by handling all inbound telephone calls pertaining to individual and business-related tax compliance, delinquency, and general information requests. Candidates should have a bias for doing the right thing and serving others with a positive attitude.

This position includes the following :
  1. Answering incoming calls in a fast-paced environment
  2. Resolving Tier 1 issues
  3. Reviewing taxpayer accounts
  4. Verifying, gathering, and updating key information
  5. Educating taxpayers about online resources and current tax policies
  6. Submitting payment arrangement requests
  7. Documenting actions in multiple systems
  8. Participating in team activities
  9. Meeting performance expectations
Skills Required :

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Skills Preferred :

Spanish-speaking

Experience Required :

At least one year of consecutive experience in each of the last two positions within a fast-paced call center environment, preferably in finance, banking, insurance, or telecommunications (non-technical support).

Experience Preferred :

Experience with process improvement activities, basic math skills, and a background in banking.

Education Required :

High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred :

Associate's Degree or higher

Additional Information :

This position offers potential for permanent employment for dependable agents who perform well and align with company culture. Candidates must pass pre-employment checks including background, fingerprinting, and tax record verification for the past 5 years.

  • Must reside in the Greater Phoenix Metro area and attend in-person orientation on day 1.
  • Flexible schedule within operating hours (7:45 am - 5:15 pm, Mon-Fri).
  • Three-week intensive training from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
  • Attendance is critical for ongoing learning and performance.
  • Position is fully remote with required hardwired internet access.
  • If using a 5G router, bring it on day 1 for IT setup.

Note: Short employment history may not be considered. Call center experience must be recent (minimum 1 year). Call center roles should not include switchboard or dispatch tasks. Candidates must be able to transport necessary equipment (micro desktop, monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset) and reside within 1 hour of Phoenix or Tucson. R2R and cover letter are required. Interviews will be remote. Resumes will be reviewed daily by the hiring manager.
