Position Overview
This is a remote call center position supporting the Business Operations. Agents will handle inbound calls related to individual and business tax compliance , answer questions, and help taxpayers navigate the system. You must be local to Arizona , able to transport equipment from the office, and attend in-person orientation on Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
Answer high-volume inbound calls professionally.
Resolve Tier 1 issues and review taxpayer accounts.
Educate taxpayers about online tools and current tax policies.
Update and verify customer information.
Document call interactions across multiple systems.
Meet performance expectations and participate in team activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 1 year recent call center experience (not switchboard / dispatch).
Skills :
Strong multitasking and communication abilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Organized, goal-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Other :
Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and tax compliance review.
Must have reliable hardwired internet connection.
Available for full-time work and attend mandatory 3-week training (8 : 30 AM – 5 PM).
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish-speaking
Experience in finance / banking or process improvement
Associate degree or higher
100% remote work, but must live locally (Phoenix / Tucson area).
Equipment pickup and first-day orientation are in person.
Interviews will be conducted remotely.
Short work history or unrelated call center roles (e.g., transfers only) may disqualify you.
