Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Discipline Leader for California water reuse projects within the Water Reuse COP. You will guide planning, design, and delivery of water reuse, drinking water, and wastewater projects, partnering with the Water Reuse strategy team to grow technical leadership and industry presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineer (PE) license.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and coordinates with subject matter experts on water reuse, drinking water, and/or wastewater projects.
• Collaborates with Water Reuse Practice Leader and sales staff to support proposals; reviews proposals for regulatory compliance.
• Ensures documents comply with federal, state, and local regulations and firm policies.
• Attends conferences and contributes to technical visibility of products and services.
• Mentors staff, develops growth within the discipline, and supervises engineers on project work.
