Job summary

CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with previous experience managing Water and Wastewater projects to join our West Pacific group.

In this position, you will be the main point of contact for planning and design of drinking water, wastewater treatment, pump station, conveyance, and water resources projects in Southern California and assist with business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PMP/CCM/DBIA targeted within 12 months.
• 4+ years of project management in water/wastewater sectors preferred.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule and budgets with QA/QC focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and serve as the Project Manager on major CA water & wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables.
• Support client service leaders with technical marketing meetings in Southern California.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Build positive relationships with key client decision makers.
