Yad Vashem USA Foundation seeks a Director of Development, California, to build and lead a growing regional fundraising program in Los Angeles and Southern California. Working with the national office, you will cultivate major donors, manage a portfolio, and create opportunities for donor engagement.

This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution, willingness to travel, evenings/weekends, and collaboration with national staff and volunteers.

Formación

• Strong track record in five- and six-figure gifts.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with the ability to work with national staff and volunteers.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a portfolio independently.
• Entrepreneurial and creative, with the ability to build fundraising programs.
• Familiarity with the LA Jewish philanthropic landscape; broad CA experience a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel regionally and to Israel.
• Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Grow YVUSA’s presence in Los Angeles and Southern California by expanding the donor network.
• Build and manage a portfolio of prospects and donors, focusing on five- and six-figure gifts.
• Create a dynamic regional fundraising program with donor gatherings, events, and speaker programs.
• Develop volunteer leadership and a regional advisory committee.
• Represent YVUSA and Yad Vashem to local communities and engage diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with national leadership to translate priorities into a regional strategy.
