Job summary

LEAP of California is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to partner with the CEO on strategy, priorities, and a multi-year roadmap. You will translate strategy into concrete plans, build dashboards, and drive cross-functional process improvements across nonprofit healthcare services.

You will supervise the Operations Manager, standardize SOPs, manage budgets and vendors, and ensure data governance while safeguarding compliance within California.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Administration, MBA, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Seven to ten years of progressively responsible operations or organizational leadership experience.
• Experience leading systems implementation, operational transformation, process improvement, and change management.
• Strong PM, analytical, financial, and technology skills; proficiency with CRM, Microsoft 365, dashboards, and workflow tools.
• Nonprofit, healthcare, disability services, or social services experience preferred; familiarity with California Regional Centers and Title 17 desirable.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP certification, or formal training in organizational change management is valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to set annual priorities and a 2–3 year operational and technology roadmap.
• Translate strategy into accountable project plans with owners, milestones, deadlines, resources, and success measures.
• Establish dashboards and regular leadership reporting to surface progress, risks, and next actions.
• Lead change management, communication, adoption, and staff engagement for major initiatives.
• Oversee operations, vendor management, budgets, and cross-functional process standards.
