Job summary

The Atlas Group is seeking a Tool Calibration Coordinator to support calibration programs across the plant. You will coordinate collection, processing, and return of gauges, measuring devices, and inspection equipment in line with calibration schedules.

You will serve as the primary liaison between production, calibration laboratory, and quality teams to minimize downtime while maintaining compliance with quality systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel; data entry skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to walk long distances in the facility.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Valid driver's license if vehicle use is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor calibration due dates and coordinate collection.
• Visit areas to collect gauges and devices near calibration due dates.
• Deliver equipment to calibration lab for in-house or outside calibration.
• Coordinate with technicians on status and completion dates.
• Return calibrated equipment to departments promptly.
• Verify calibration labels and documentation are complete.
• Maintain records of equipment movement and calibration status.
• Assist in locating overdue or missing equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors about collection/return.
• Prepare equipment for shipment to external providers when required.
• Receive and inspect equipment from outside vendors.
• Keep calibration lab and storage organized.
• Support inventory and identification of measurement equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and quality system requirements.
• Perform other duties for Quality Dept.
