Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston in Kinston, NC, seeks a Calibration Coordinator to join our facility management and real estate team. You will oversee calibration scheduling, tooling inventories, vendor coordination, and data integrity on a busy aerospace shop floor.

The role requires 2+ years in tool shop management, experience with Gauge Suite, and strong Excel skills. You will work with SAP and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in tool shop management, tracking databases, inventory logistics, calibration coordination, or quality control inside a production facility.
• Proficiency with Gauge Suite and advanced Excel/Sheets; SAP familiarity.
• Knowledge of safety, quality metrics and tool compliance tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Tracking: Compile and generate the master tracking spreadsheet from Gauge Suite identifying all tooling and gauges due for calibration; distribute to production managers and shop floor stakeholders.
• Daily Reconciliation: Update the active gauge tracking spreadsheet daily and report missing assets through the Lost Tool Report workflow.
