Job summary

Cal Tec Service 2XL seeks a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to ensure accurate handling of gauges and equipment, from intake to final shipment, while maintaining calibration workflow integrity and traceability. You will follow SOPs, protect customer data, and support local pickups using company vehicles.

The role requires logging items in Sesame/IndySoft, preparing shipping docs, and coordinating with labs to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in shipping, receiving, logistics or inventory control.
• Familiarity with calibration, metrology, or ISO/IEC 17025 environment is a plus.
• Basic computer skills; IndySoft or Sesame familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, storage, and shipping of gauges and equipment according to policy.
• Inspect incoming packages, document findings, and notify customers of discrepancies.
• Log assets in IndySoft or Sesame and route items to the correct department, FIFO.
• Prepare labels, packing lists, and shipping paperwork; drive as needed.
