Job summary

Amity Foundation in the United States seeks a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to teach and support inmates and participants in life skills and family relations programming. This role involves delivering evidence-based curricula, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff to support re-entry efforts.

You will conduct classes, document progress in ARMS, develop action plans, and engage participants daily while upholding confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator is required for hire.
• Certification number on resume is prioritized.
• If not certified, apply only with scheduled certification date.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes.
• Conduct sessions and develop action plans for participants.
• Evaluate and document progress in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
