Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals to join as a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to support prison and re-entry programs. This role involves teaching life skills and family relations using evidence-based curricula within a therapeutic community setting.

The Peer Navigator will work closely with CDCR/CCHCS staff, document progress, and engage participants daily while upholding confidentiality and program standards.

Formación

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator. Certification number on resume is prioritized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and/or Family Relations classes using evidence based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop action plans; provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants in their classes.
• Engage participants daily, reinforce group norms and participation expectations.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
