Job summary

Amity Foundation, an internationally acclaimed teaching and therapeutic community, seeks compassionate individuals to join as Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigators. You will teach CBI Life Skills and Family Relations programming and work on prison and re-entry initiatives to support community rehabilitation.

Requirements include Cal MHSA certification and strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using approved curriculum.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop action plans.
• Evaluate and document participant progress in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS staff and headquarters.
