Amity Foundation in multiple regions is seeking a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to support prison projects through life skills and family relations programming.

As a peer navigator, you will facilitate classes, document progress, and collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS staff while maintaining confidentiality. The role is full-time, onsite, with an hourly wage of $25.00. Candidates must have certification; travel may be required locally.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• If you do not have your Cal MHSA certification it is best you wait until you have it or have a scheduled date for the test.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using curriculum to participants.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop action plans.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Work with CDCR/CCHCS staff and headquarters.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
