Job summary

Food City in Cartersville, GA is seeking an on-site Food Service Associate to deliver friendly customer service and support daily bakery operations. You will greet customers, assist with cake decorating, keep display cases stocked, and help with special cake orders and phone orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service at all times.
• Maintain positive attitude and teamwork to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Greet customers and assist with prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare and produce quality food & products to meet customer expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes and assist with cake and dessert displays.
• Maintain cake and cookie cases and take telephone orders.
• Ensure proper rotation and dating of food service products.
• Keep workstation tidy and organized.
